Maria Suarez

Maria will graduate from Adelphi University in 2026 with a Master’s in Social Work. She is drawn to healthcare because she wants a career that allows her to make meaningful differences in people's lives. Over the past 24 years, that motivation has grown stronger.  Working more closely with residents and their families has taught Maria the importance of compassion, advocacy, and teamwork. She tells us that every day brings something new.  Healthcare constantly evolves, so there is always something to learn.  In her spare time, she enjoys the simple things…quality time with her family and friends.  Maria feels it is very important to set aside time to recharge and keep going.
