Amanda Alvarez

Amanda attended Mercy College and has worked in healthcare for the past 10 years. She felt she was driven to this career path after learning that Human Resources assists others in their career development. She has always had a passion for helping others and advocating for them.  This field allows her to assist individuals in their professional path and guide them through training and employee relations.   What she enjoys most about her job is that she can assist employees with situations that may impede their job performance.  She can organize conversations that allow employees to feel safe and express their needs and wants, improving employee satisfaction and retention.  As an HR Director who cares, She can make our employees happy so that they can give the best to our residents. In her spare time, Amanda enjoys spending time with her horses. She has been a certified special needs riding instructor for many years and enjoys giving back to the community.
