Also, a classical violinist was playing throughout the evening. A wonderful time was had by all!

Evelyn and Ken Jamison Renew their wedding vows!
They met in 1966 at the Hudson Valley Hospital. Evelyn was a staff aid and Ken was a patient. They got married in 1970. They renewed their vows 5 years ago and wished to renew it again with their Cortlandt Healthcare family. It was a real nice and meaningful event!
In September we are also planning an Apple Festival. We are going to have fresh baked apple dishes prepared by our resident baking group. We are going to play apple themed games and decorate the room with apple decorations made in our art group
In October, one of our resident is renewing his wedding vows with his lovely wife. We are going to have their pastor come in for the service and a reception to follow. There is going to be live music with hors d’oeuvres and wedding cake.
We are also going to have October fest with German music, food and beer.
Every Halloween, Cortlandt Healthcare holds its annual staff costume contest! The residents are the judges. The room is decorated in a spooky Halloween theme and the kitchen prepares Halloween themed foods.
We have great news!
